Can someone help pleaseee? I can't figure out the code in the first puzzle..

This game actually did really well on mood, and I enjoyed the main player's personality throughout it! I was wondering how you went about developing this? Text wise and point and click puzzle-wise, they're features I'd love to try out when making my own games!

I liked this short game! The writing was really good and the action parts were tense! Soma is a cutie ^^

Nice

Great storytelling and artwork throughout! It was a really fun and terrifying concept for Spooktober!

This was a neat visual novel! I enjoy the wordplay for the title.

SPOILERS (sort of)

.

.

I really appreciated the puzzles. They were very well done (although I did get a bit stuck on the passcode one, until I realized that the keys had letters on them xD Then I managed to guess correctly) I didn't even expect there to be a sliding puzzle! That was a nice touch.

The story was a lot of fun, too. It definitely felt like a thriller with how everything played out. (I did guess a bit early on that Soma wasn't exactly who he said he was, but I did go into this game kind of expecting him to be bad news. Even if he's absolutely adorable!)

I enjoyed all of the endings, and I was glad that the friend was okay in the good ending... presumably they're okay in all of the endings, though.

The little bit of voice acting was great, too! But you may want to make the volume for the voices to be louder. I had to do a lot of adjusting with my capture and editing programs to get it to be the right volume. (It's probably not as big of a deal for people who aren't recording a playthrough, though.)

Overall, this was very fun! It captures the feel of the Halloween Season very well.

Thank you for playing!!

Of course! It was a lot of fun

HELP!!! I've been working on the first puzzle for hours, what's the answer? :((((

The puzzles in the first room can be done in any order! Which one is it?

First impression; honestly thought the title was some kinda malaproprism/wordplay of bad manners so maybe it had to do with it or the way mc got stood up by her friend (who I suspected was a jerk at the start from how the mc acted dismissive and all). Also neato textbar, UI and all that stuffs feeling the rich neon retro-ness through that captured slight dreamcore with how the backgrounds/settings portrayed.

Diving into the game, my first thought when I met him already giving off bright suspicious flags going on but he was kinda cute and I still didn't have the heart to act rude or mean to him anyway. The realization when he had that phone and the implication though, a good caught-me-off-guard moment and his comments on the cage (this threw me back to that Toma Amnesia moment lol), plus the painting? Before finally that reveal in the vent (my brain lagged for a second in disbelief and bewilderment from his accusation about mc suspecting something's absolutely up with this guy). The built up tension, mystery and fun little puzzles (I spent half an hour on cracking the passcode because my brain did a dummy ๐Ÿ’” I enjoyed the funerals one the most) up to that point and from there on really hooked me in and kept me at the edge of my seat, you nailed the thriller tag ๐Ÿ’ฏ I think he exhibited some psychopathic behaviors (not rlly sure) he might have been one and this could need an added warning for that, but I would like to say towards his one dialogue telling mc a loser for all this time or along those lines; he was the silly foolish one to get ahead of himself and thinking he could get away freely with what he gained >:) certainly an interesting (type I tried hard to not fell in love with and luckily succeeded) guy though

All in all, I enjoyed this game, looking forward to your future works!

So I got the bad end and the game over and the one where you just go back home is that all? I'm confused and have already played 5 times trying to get another ending preferably me and soma walking into the sunset jk unless   ใ€’โ–ฝใ€’ someone help pls

(1 edit) (+3)

I def want to give Soma a happy ending esp to flesh him out more xD Maybe we'll add one later ~ who knows~

(+3)

I loved playing this game!! I have a big love for puzzles so solving all of them was so fun. I fell more in love with the puzzles than Soma so every ending was a satisfying one for me mwahaha >:O)

(+3)

omg this was so fun!! I really enjoyed this game, it very much felt like an escape room even if there were only a few puzzles. The atmosphere was spot on. I believe I got every ending as well as the variations? Very fun!! Soma is very interesting, and although I'm not sure I understood his motives, I enjoyed his character.

I'm playing this, but....I'm confused. There's a note from the bookshelf, but there's no CG or other clue to indicate what the hint RE: the word on the bookshelf is. Am I supposed to guess what word the hint was?

I'm also hitting a weird issue where frequently after selecting a choice, I can't advance the text by clicking or using the spacebar. I managed to figure out that using the auto feature could advance the text when this happens, but it's a weird bug!

(+1)

when the text box is open you are able to switch to an inventory screen which has the hint from the book shelf! as for not being able to advance text after choice, i've recently been informed this is an issue with the mac export of the game very sorry!! will try to fix this in the future...

(+2)

The game is super cool, but perhaps because English is not my native language, I don't quite understand the password puzzle at the very beginning...

(+1)

You have to guess the password from the hint at the bookshelf, I hope this helps!

(+4)

I can fix him

(+2)

I may be very slow but I am having trouble understanding how to get the different endings, I have only been able to achieve one and it is the supposed "good" ending. Any advice or knowledge about certain choices that decide an ending?

(+2)

all i'll say, if you were nice in one playthrough be mean in the other! if you went the right way go the wrong way ++thanks for playing ๐Ÿ˜‹

(+2)

Ok, so I have gotten the Good and Bad ending but I am lost on the third, such as what you mean by "the right way", do you mean in the dream, or is there something else I am missing?

(+2)

at the end there are a few ways you can go, going the wrong way gives an ending hope this helps!

(+2)

Wait is the GAME OVER an ending? If so then I was overthinking the entire thing.

(+2)

yes it was ๐Ÿ˜… sorry for confusion! since the game can end there i counted it as an ending

(+4)

Wow this was SO much fun!! The aesthetics and UI are incredibly beautiful and all the puzzles are well thought out and fairly challenging (I don't want to admit how long the sliding puzzle took me haha) Big props on programming all this in a month!! โ™ก

(+4)

Thank you so much!!! So happy you enjoyed it ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

(+3)

Will there also be android version??? I smell yanyan from the cover itself xD haven't play it yet but I'll do after my exam

(+3)

no plans for a android port sorry ๐Ÿ™ only PC and Mac! thanks for your interest ๐Ÿฅน
